This course is designed for those who would like to continue on from Stage 1, or have previous German knowledge. Grammatical development is further emphasized and the course also introduces you to more German customs and “how things work” in Germany
This course is specific to Germany, therefore you will be taught conventional German, however it may help you in your travels to Austria also as the dialect of both countries is very similar, but please be aware that the tutor is German and the focus is on Germany in this course.
Revision of Stage 1, learn about cases, adjectives, possessive pronouns, directions, vocabulary for shopping (groceries, clothes), every day conversations at home, at shops/restaurants, simple past tense/future tense, facts about Germany.
Simple conversations at home/at the shops/restaurants, ability to describe past situations, speak about plans for the future, write a social postcard/letter/email.
Must have completed German Stage 1 or an equivalent of approx 20 hours of previous German tuition.
