This course is designed for those who would like to continue on from Stage 1, or have previous Swedish knowledge.
Swedish is the business language of all Scandinavia. In fact, Scandinavian languages are very similar. So learn Swedish and you will easily find your way around Sweden, Norway and Denmark! There are approximately 9 million Swedish speakers in the world, 6 million Danish speakers, and 5 million Norwegian speakers. The languages of these countries are so similar that they are mostly mutually intelligible, making some linguists argue that they are more like dialects.
Great course for business travellers or for those working in the hospitality and tourism industries, for leisure travellers and those wishing to communicate better with relatives and friends. While Swedish will be used as much as possible during sessions, explanations will be in English. You will enjoy speaking, reading, writing and hearing Swedish in a friendly and fun atmosphere.
