Jenny Joyce has been researching family history for over twenty years and has built up an extensive knowledge of genealogical sources and resources in Australia and the United Kingdom. She has had an article about immigration into Australia published in Family Tree Magazine, and has been awarded a Certificate in Genealogical Research from the Society of Australian Genealogists.

Jenny is a member of the Family History Group committee of the Ku-ring-gai Historical Society, and for her work she was awarded “Gem” of Ku-ring-gai in 2012, an award given by Ku-ring-gai council for women who have made an outstanding contribution to the community.

Jenny is also well versed in the science of using DNA for genealogical research, and can explain this sometimes complex subject in layman’s terms.

Jenny is passionate about genealogical research, and is a well prepared, approachable and popular tutor.
