BSBTEC402 - Design and Produce Complex Spreadsheets
Are you using Excel to its fullest potential? You will be amazed at the maximum functionality of Microsoft Excel. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to prepare and plan spreadsheets, develop linked spreadsheet solutions, automate and standardize spreadsheet operations, represent numerical data graphically, and store spreadsheets, among other skills.
Upon completion, a Statement of Attainment will be issued for BSBTEC402 Design and produce complex spreadsheets from the BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business. This competency can also be credited towards the BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business or FNS41820 Certificate IV in Financial Services.

Prerequisites
Whilst there are no prerequisites for this course, it is expected that participants have adequate language, literacy, numeracy, and computer skills to complete assessments using a computer in the classroom. Knowledge of intermediate Excel is preferred.

Delivery Strategies
Classes are delivered face-to-face in a classroom environment by a qualified and industry-experienced trainer. Learning strategies include role play, demonstrations, lectures, and classroom activities. All participants will be supported by our skilled team throughout their learning journey. The course consists of 3 sessions (one day per week) with an additional 4 hours of home study per week.
Assessment Strategies
Assessment for this course includes both summative and formative methods through written questions, answers, observations, and practical demonstrations of knowledge and skills.
Resource Requirements
Learner manuals will be provided. This course requires the use of a computer and internet, either in the classroom or at the student's home or workplace, to research relevant legislation, industry standards, and develop workplace documents.
