Once you have completed this short course, you many choose to further your knowledge and skills and enroll in the  BSB30120 Certificate III in Business (Business Administration) or BSB30120 Certificate III in Business (Medical Administration) with credit transfers for completed competencies. 

The BSB30120 Certificate III in Business (Business Administration) equips you with the knowledge and skills to succeed in any administrative role. This business admin course could lead you to a rewarding career as a receptionist, payroll officer, senior administration officer, or records clerk. The BSB30120 Certificate III in Business (Medical Administration) equips you with the knowledge and skills to succeed in a variety of healthcare workplaces such as hospitals, GP offices, clinics, and medical centres. This medical admin course could lead you to a career as a physician’s secretary, a waiting room receptionist, a records clerk in a hospital, or an accounts clerk in a clinic

Fee for service price is $2650.00

Eligibility to enrol into this course:
This course requires strong language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills for successful completion. If you believe you will need to develop your LLN skills, please feel free to let us know.

BSBCMM211 Apply communication skills
BSBOPS304 Deliver and monitor a service to customers
BSBOPS303 Organise schedules
 

Delivery Strategies
Classes are delivered in a face to face classroom environment at our Western Sydney Skills Hub in North Parramatta.  All participants will be supported by qualified and skilled trainer throughout their learning journey. 6 weeks x 2 day per week with an additional 10hrs of home study per week.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Parramatta Community College recognises that some learners may have already delivered training as part of their job.  If you believe you can provide sufficient evidence (according to the rules of evidence – see Standard 1.8 - 1.12 under the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015) of your current experience and/or relevant qualifications that match the competency requirements of any of the units in this course, please consult with the Compliance Officer glen@pcc.edu.au prior to enrolling to apply for recognition. Please note that applying for RPL may not automatically result in issuing of the qualification or Statement of Attainment. No refund will be made in case of a partial qualification or if no certificate can be issued because of the RPL assessment.
