Excel Advanced
Are you using excel to its fullest potential? You will be amazed at the maximum functionality of Microsoft Excel. On completion of this course you will be able to prepare and plan spreadsheets, develop a linked spreadsheet solution, automate and standardise spreadsheet operations, represent numerical data in graphic form and store spreadsheet and much more. On completions a Statement of Attainment will be issued for BSBTEC402 Design and produce complex spreadsheets from BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business. This competency can be credited towards BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business or FNS41820 Certificate IV in Financial Services

Prerequisite
Whilst there are no prerequisites for this course, it is expected that you have adequate language, literacy and numeracy skills and computer skills to be able to interact with peers, trainers and completing assessments using a computer in the classroom. Knowledge of intermediate Excel is preferred.

Delivery Strategies
Classes are delivered in a face to face classroom environment led by a qualified and industry experienced trainer. Learning strategies include role play, demonstrations, lectures and classroom activities. All participants will be supported by our qualified and skilled team throughout their learning journey. 3 sessions - one day per week with an additional 4hrs of home study per week.
Assessment strategies
Assessment for this course will include both summative and formative through written questions and answers, observations and practical demonstration of knowledge and skills
Resource Requirements
Learner manuals will be provided. This course requires the use of computer and internet either in the classroom or at the students’ home or workplace to research the relevant legislations, industry standards and to develop relevant workplace documents.
